As my husband and I decided that our next destination was going tone very exotic...well we did it...we decided Colombia (Armenia) coffee region of Colombia.As we walked towards the Parque Sucre, before the Parque Sucre we came across what we look to us a very nice restaurant; we looked at the outside menu and decided to go in.I ordered a Cazuela de Mariscos (a beautiful fish and sea food stew in a coconut sauce with white wine) freshly made in the oven (you might have to wait 20 minutes for it, but worthwhile the wait if you like this kind of food).My husband had Breast of chicken in a wonderful mushroom sauce; you also had a choice of French fries or other type of dish such a rice (Colombians love rice).Is also good to know that in Colombia is very common to ask for the Menu de el dia (a full course meal for very good value), make sure you go somewhere nice for it; more or less every restaurant cooks it on the day.
