Went for lunch about 1 month ago for sundayish lunch. What kind of fusion food? I am still thinking about that fancy word. Pretty fancy people and clientele. But the food ......,& service.The word is PRETTY MEDIOCRE

barranquilla tendency to newer restaurants , all cut down by same effect. people watching. tendy ladies but in the end quite MEDIOCRE. bad food, expensive expensive.medium service. not able to do a decente lemonade. CAHUFA Rice you get better in a chinese restaurant
We order a Steak and a delicious risotto with fish. Everything was delicious and the attention exceptional! This place is recommended for all kind of events and situations!
We made a reservation to this restaurant by e-mailing them, and confirmed it by having our hotel call them as requested the night before. We arrived 15 min PRIOR to our reservation, only to be informed that the kitchen would close in 15 min, and we would have to order and eat within 30 min. When we enquired why they would accept our reservation just the previous night, we were told - LITERALLY - "This is carnival time, so everything as allowed"! We wound up dining at the restaurant next door (see my separate review). which had good food, attentive service, and was full of local people (always a great sign for me).
I'm not saying the food was bad but it should not have cost that much. the menu explained something, my eyes said something else, and my tastebuds said something different. The way it was explained in the menu sounded awesome.Im sure there is great food here. some of the appetizers look great but this place is a long way from being compared to other peruvian places in colombia.One thing that was a bit strange was that I was given a paper napkin at this expensive restaurant. I would hate for people not go to this place because I think its amazingly located.
Exceeded all expectations, great service and delicious food. Overall, excellent experience, had a great time. Even got a free dessert for my birthday.
Love the service, the place is magical and the food is amazing, if you go to Barranquilla you definitely have to go to Amaranta. Delicious
