Ate here mostly out of curiosity to see how Mexican food is interpreted in Colombia. Brother-in-law had chicken tacos, rice and beans. I had a shrimp cocktail and we shared guacamole. I had a Club Colombian beer and BIL had a soda. Rest of menu has a wide variety of Mexican dishes (sopes, enchiladas, tortas, burritos, etc.). Tequila and Mexican beer available as well as local Colombian brews. Atmosphere is somewhat kitschy, kind of like Mexican chain restaurants in the USA. Chips and salsa are a pay-for item, not complimentary like you may find back home. Prices are quite reasonable; we got out of there for under US$20 with tax and tip.Food and drinks came out fairly quickly. I knew Colombians, generally speaking, are not really into spicy food compared to their Mexican cousins up north. Given that, I wasn't too surprised to find the food somewhat bland, perhaps toned down for local's tastes. It was certainly edible and filling, but if you are accustomed to "real Mexican" food from Mexico or family run Mexican restaurants in the USA or Canada you may be disappointed.
