Walked around town and went to the Gold Museum. We walked by and this place looked good to simply slow down and get a quick bite to eat. I got a serrano and cheese sandwich, my wife got an empanada, and drinks. Inexpensive food to get rid of our hangry moment. We sat next to the street and watched the entertainment of people walking by.

Shared a pulled pork sandwich and a latte with my partner (total cost 14000) which were both delicious! Generous portions and gourmet ingredients. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Lots of produce also on sale. Can't wait to go back!

We stopped in for a café tinto (equivalent to American drip coffee) and an iced latte before a long walk to lunch. Americans that are used to everything super-sized will have to get used to the standard sizes here; the large (grande) of the tinto was about 2/3 the size of a Starbucks tall size, or a small cup anywhere else. Still, the coffee was delicious (my boyfriend declared it better than Blue Bottle coffee, a high-end coffee roaster in San Francisco) and my latte was iced using tiny crushed/shaved ice instead of ice cubes so that the foam on top was preserved. The adjacent liquor/deli store was doing a hopping business (Christmas shoppers probably) and the cafe itself had a pleasant ambience for chilling and reading or just relaxing.

I definitely recommend Chantonner for a quick sandwich. They also have numerous drink options and other snacks. Also, grab a few bags of the Amor Perfecto if you're looking for tasty Colombian coffee beans

If you are in the neighborhood just drop in for a sandwich, a beer or a bottle of whisky as the locals do. The sandwiches are quite good and even the pork and ham that you can get on a plate like tapas if you can make yourself understand. Have a bottle of wine or a glass. Check out the locals. We were there around 5pm and at least 4 occupied by locals, most men in suits, shearing bottles of whisky. Nice after work joint. It was impossible to get a glass of the local Aquardente but you can buy a bottle and drink at the spent 1 hour and just enjoyed.

It is a local delicatessen, you can get pretty good products. Also if you are in a hurry for having lunch this is a very good place, the have excellent sandwiches and excellent coffee, an excellent local brand (Amor Perfecto) and it is served in china cups, not in these disgusting plastic cups.

After visiting Museo del Oro in Bogota we had the bad luck to find this place, arepas were horrible and the espresso sencillo was nothing more than 1 ml of espresso. Ridiculous. Do not enter here, go across the street.
