Hard to find if you don't know where you are going, but delicious! We attempted to find El Tambor once, but the taxi could not find it... 2 hours in the north of Bogota and no luck; the taxi driver asserted that there was no such address in existence! The second time I researched better and discovered that it was in the Multiparque. We had no trouble finding it. (Autopista Norte to approximately Calle 220, just past the KIA dealership. Enter the Multiparque and walk or drive all the way to the back of the park.) We were there on an early and damp Wednesday afternoon. We were alone for the most part, but when we were leaving there were many more families- at least 30 people sitting and ordering at the counter. We did not order carne de res as we have found it to be terrible in all of Bogota so far (cattle is not generally raised for meat here), so we got cerdo- the ribs and chops. We ordered the meal for 2, which was enough for the 3 of us. The ribs were wonderful; meat came right off the bones. The chops were a bit dry. The potatoes were amazing; like mashed potato consistency inside the skins. Sausage was good. Arepa Sal was good. Guacamole and salsa was delicious. Desserts were excellent too! Overall, we loved it, and Mario Gomez was very friendly, helpful and kind to us! Would definitely recommend going here. It's out of the way and in a nice open garden area with space for children to roam and have fun. Our meal with 2 beers, 1 Coke, and 3 desserts was approximately 80,000 COP or $27 USD.
