It is a family owned small restaurant. prepare yourself to enjoy the experience of eating almost at a ¨friends´s kitchen¨, the chef came to our table asked us for details of our order. food is prepared when you order , fresh , it takes time but it is worth it. Pasta , salmon , cochinillo all the dishes were definitely worth the wait!

Stone oven. Amazing service from owner. Very tasty unique Italian cuisine. Great view right outside Leyva.

We decided to take some french friends to eat cochinillo. It is uncommon to find this kind of place at Villa de Leyva. This is the second time we go and always had a good experience. It is important to call in advance and reserve the cochinillo. This way you are sure you will get a good meal when you get there. The owner will prepare it especially for you. Food is good and the sides are also good. Price is reasonable. This restaurant is one of the few hidden gems at Villa de Leyva.

Poor service, we had to prepare ourselves the table, an hour after we ordered they had not serve the starter (appetizer). We decided to leave and we had to pay the lemonades drank wile we were waiting... The waiter told us that we should have ordered other meal, so the problem was ours because of what we ordered... The owners were there and they didn't care about our concern. Nice place, terrible service.

We were so grateful to find this restaurant open when we had walked out to visit 'El Infiernito' on a Monday, only to find it closed. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who is also the artist responsible for the paintings around the walls and the quirky creations in the garden. The food was delicious, and the 'exquisite tomato sauce' promised on the menu turned out to be just that. Portions were generous and we were unable to finish everything on the table. Service was friendly and charming and the whole experience more than made up for our disappointment at not being able to visit the nearby tourist attraction.
